The most iconic trombone in jazz, the King 3B defined jazz horn playing throughout the 20th Century, including jazz notables Tommy Dorsey (“The Sentimental Gentleman of Swing") and James Pankow (Chicago). A committed player can thrive with this horn for a lifetime, with its superior projection and ease in the upper register, and its fast slide action. The horn has been re-introduced by Conn-Selmer, Inc., sold as the "King 2103 Legend 3B" for approx. $3,200.

This trombone was bought new; one owner. It is in great shape, especially considering it’s 50 years old! The finish is very good overall, with two very small blemish dings and some worn-lacquer spots or scratches. The slide is nickel-silver (serial no. 3933) and is in great shape – very fast action, no dings or rough spots. Original King case has normal wear but is in very good shape. Original horn - never overhauled/refurbished.
