This is a Stunning and Rare piece of Vintage 1970's British Gold Jewellery. Made in Solid 9ct White Gold it is a Band Ring with a Twist Design throughout the outside and a Slightly Curved inside so that it fits comfortably. Please be aware that most modern White Gold is simply Yellow Gold that has been Rhodium Plated to look White so will need replating in time when the Yellow Gold Shows through. This Ring however has been made by a highly skilled Jeweller who has mixed an Alloy containing Yellow Gold and Platinum to create real White Gold that will not lose the White Colour. It is Fully Hallmarked as photographed on the inside of the shank with JSW for the Maker's Mark, the Crown Mark for Gold, 375 for the Gold Purity, the Leopard's Head Mark for London Assay Office, the Date Letter E for 1979 and it has been electronically tested at a precious metal refinery to confirm the metal content. It is a UK size O or approx. a US size 7 1/4, weighs 2.3g and the Band measures 3.5mm wide. The Ring is in a used and good condition for its age with no real damage and just some surface wear. As highlighted in the last two photos there are 5 Original Casting Faults to the Ring but they are not very noticeable when it is being worn so I don't believe they really detract however they are mentioned for accuracy. The box in the photos is for display purposes only and is not the one it will be posted out in.
