This is a Stunning and Rare piece of Antique British Gold and Gemstone Jewellery. Made in 18ct Yellow Gold it is a Ring featuring a Solitaire Old Rough Cut Diamond with a Platinum Setting and Angled Design to the Shoulders. The Diamond is approx. 0.25ct to 0.33ct but it is impossible to be precise as being a Rough Cut Diamond it is an irregular shape. It is Simply Hallmarked as photographed on the inside of the shank though quite rubbed with 18CT for the Gold Purity, PLAT for the Platinum and it has been electronically tested at a precious metal refinery to confirm the Gold Content. It is a UK size O or approx. a US size 7 1/4, weighs 1.8g and the Diamond measures roughly 4mm diameter. The Ring is in a used and good condition with no damage but with some surface wear. Please note as can be seen in the last photo the Ring has been basically resized at some point so the Gold is not quite the same thickness all the way round but this does not detract at all and is only mentioned for accuracy. The box in the photos is for display purposes only and is not the one it will be posted out in.
