I am the original owner.  I bought her from a doll shop in Cape May, New Jersey (Oma's Doll Shop, I believe the owner retired and closed it several years ago) in 1996.

It is rare to find an Engel Puppe that is a baby doll.  This sweet girl has molded hair, sleep brown eyes, long lashes and cloth body with vinyl arms, legs and head.  She is marked Engel Puppe 745 on the back of her neck.  Her tag reads: Engel Puppe Werterzeugnis.

She was briefly and gently played with by my daughter who was not as into dolls as I was/am so mostly she sat in the baby cradle.  She remains in excellent condition with the following condition notes: she has the adhesive remnants of a band aid on her cloth body, missing a few eyelashes.  I did a very light cleaning of her vinyl and a bit of light soil or stain remains on her forehead.

She wears her original pink blouse with eyelet trim at the neckline, pastel animal print romper, matching booties and bonnet with pink ribbon ties.  Clothing has hook/loop closures.  Elastic has mostly stretched out on pants legs and sleeves.

She has been well stored and has no musty or other odors.
