Paavo Järvi & Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra Bruckner Complete (No. 0 to 9)

Description

Description of item

Paavo Järvi's life's work, the complete Bruckner works, has finally been completed after 11 years.
125th Anniversary of Bruckner's Death Memorial Release

Paavo Järvi, together with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, will perform and record all 10 of Bruckner's symphonies, which he considered his life's work and which he has cherished over the past 11 years. With the addition of the two songs No. 0 and No. 8, which were released for the first time, this is the complete collection of symphonies.
Järvi allows the music to breathe at a fast tempo, finely finishing the details, and clearly presenting the huge block structure that is characteristic of Bruckner. His fresh approach to his early symphonies, which he views as ``an extension of Schubert and Mendelssohn,'' is extremely refreshing. Even after the middle period, the clarity of sound in the final movement fugue of "No. 5", the lyricism of "No. 7", the rustic boldness of "No. 8", and the expression of cosmic profoundness of "No. 9" It vividly captures the individuality of each work, such as the appearance.
Based on live recordings of multiple regular concerts at the Frankfurt Alteoper (opened in 1981, 2,500 seats), it has been edited with takes from patch sessions, giving you the sense of urgency and dynamism that is unique to concerts. The quality of the work has been raised to the highest level (Järvi himself is deeply involved in the editing process). The warm, scale-rich sound of the home base of Alte Oper, reproduced by Hessian Broadcasting's experienced staff, is also appealing. 5.1 multi playback brings out the three-dimensional effect of the space.
No. 8 is a session recording at the Kurhaus Friedrich von Tiersch Saal in Wiesbaden. Opened in 1907, this beautiful 1,350-seat hall is known for having one of the best acoustics in Germany, and the complete symphonies of Paavo Järvi and the Deutsche Kammerphilz Brahms have been recorded here.
Comes with a separate commentary of 104 pages (planned) Commentary: "Paavo Järvi talks about Bruckner" Issei Kobata, Andreas Maul "Järvi & Frankfurt Symphony Bruckner Symphony performance record/list of performance works" published "I love Bruckner

" I like his music.I think it's because there's something meditative about Bruckner's music.I don't mean it because it seems slow or repetitive, but because of the structure of the music. It depends on how you listen to it.It takes a while to grasp the big picture of Bruckner's music, which has a large structure, but I like the process of looking at a big picture carefully.Bruckner's symphonies Playing a piece is like a long journey with a lot of planning and pacing in advance. You can become immersed in the piece and before you know it, you're in a special place. ~Paavo Järvi (from the manufacturer's materials)
