Vintage Canon 4Head VR-40A HI-FI VCR VHS tape Portable Video Recorder, comes with VT-50A tuner base and owner's manual. The recorder is dated 2/7/1985 and the base is dated 10/8/1984, both made in Japan.

The items are in good pre-owned condition, with minor wear and scratches, need some cleaning. The recorder was plugged in and it powers on fine, all the lights on display come on and the eject button opens the VHS compartment. However, I do not have any VHS tapes to check other functionality or if the recorder actually works so is being sold as UNTESTED. The owner's manual is not original, looks like it was printed off Internet and binded.
