Govinder Catwalk Blocks - Small Statue: Brand New & Boxed.

Height 8.5cm

These Nazran Govinder products were licensed by Govinder's closest relatives after his death in 2008. They were produced for a short while in 2013 by Border Fine Arts and Enesco. They are now difficult to find and quite collectable.
We will be listing more from this series over coming weeks - please message us if you are looking for a particular piece. (We no longer have any of Royal Worcester's Govinder; we do have statues, mugs, clocks, notebooks, coasters and dishes)

*In 2004 Govinder became the ‘Best Selling Published Artist’ in the industry’s Fine Art Trade Guild Awards. He died suddenly and unexpectedly four years later on December 30, 2008.

His work was and remains highly regarded worldwide - having a particular following in Japan.

"Composition usually begins life as pure abstract shapes. Flow of line and form, as well as negative shapes, are important here. I also look for connections between shapes and link them with connecting lines. The balance and harmony of colour pull the whole composition together. The end result is part defined and part abstract.

In my ‘pure’ abstracts I look to nature and emotion, and build on that. From life seen through the window of a speeding car, or the blurred reflection of a city seen through bleary eyes, to the depiction of a single moment of intense emotion expressed through layers of paint. It’s a very pure art form." G. Nazran.

Thank you.

About Tattypuss!

Tattypuss was our wonderful cat gift shop - opened in 2011.

Sadly due to illness, we were forced to close.

WE ARE SELLING ALL REMAINING STOCK FROM TATTYPUSS.

Many items in our eBay shop include a direct donation to a cancer charity. We also donate directly to charity.

You will see on each listing whether the purchase price includes a direct donation and which charity is benefiting.

Over the years Tattypuss gained a following of loyal customers.

Our products are all  high-quality, branded items. Most are sourced from, and made in, the UK.

We have partnerships with some wonderful designers and unique businesses.  We have always provided an unbeatable customer service.

We have donated many, many items to charity, and expect to sell everything remaining  as and when we can. Much of this will be via eBay.

(It's a slow process - we no longer live with the business so we collect items in small batches from our warehouse facility, list them then repeat.

We thank all our customers for their support over the years. We are sad to close the book ....but we wouldn't have missed it for anything.

Thank you all.

Chris & Jo
