British artist, passed away in 2013, well known for his unique technique of oil painting with knives (not brushes). Featured are houses on the very edge of the coast, gorgeous marshes and skies above, boats, trees etc. Painted in England, signed by the artist "Harley Crossley" and dated "'74", and also studio stamped on the back. Colors are vivid, superb quality! Painting is executed on wood board, contained in a washed / bleached wood frame and matted. Painting is signed in lower left, please see photos. Overall in good condition, shows light age / use wear if any, artificially aged frame (please see photos). Size is great to fit anywhere at 35.75" x 20" overall in the frame, while the art portion is 27.5" x 11.5". This is a gorgeous work of art that is rising in value, it will enhance any great setting !
