214.5carat (42,8 grams) of Queensland Boulder (some Koroit) Small Opal Rough precut/slices and rough/rubs for cutting and finishing. Some of the pieces have little color areas. Some of the color is on thin surface layers. Color is mainly in the smaller pieces in this lot.
These require hand tools to cut and finish and would be good for beginner cutter. But the slicing has already been done and shaping on a couple.
The pictures are of the stones shown wet to bring out color potential when polished. Pictures taken on an iphone under LED light. The pieces range in size from as small as 9mm across up to as large as 34mm across. Thickness on the pieces is 4mm up to 12mm thick. (The ruler in some pictures in in millimeters)
