This lens adopts a new appearance and a focus ring switching mechanism that allows you to switch between AF/MF with a single touch while maintaining excellent optical performance, further improving operability.
The Di (Digitally Integrated Design) is an optical design that is designed for use with digital cameras, and provides the same high image quality whether using digital or film cameras. The Model 272E uses the same lens type as the previous Model 172E, but incorporates "Di" in the optical design of the coating.
In production from 2004 to 2008. This lens has NO in-lens motor. So your camera must have the in-body AF motor.
