Correct adjustment of expansion valve:
(1) Before adjusting the thermal expansion valve, it is necessary to confirm that the refrigeration abnormality in the cold storage is caused by the thermal expansion valve deviating from the optimal operating point, not by the lack of freon, blocked drying filter, filter screen, fan, belt and other reasons.  At the same time, it is necessary to ensure the accuracy of the temperature packet sampling signal, the temperature sensor installation location must be correct, absolutely can not be installed in the pipeline directly below, in order to prevent the bottom of the pipe oil accumulation and other factors affect the temperature sensor packet correct temperature.
(2) Matters needing attention when adjusting thermal expansion valve
The thermal expansion valve must be adjusted in the normal operation of the refrigeration device.  Since the surface of the evaporator cannot be placed with a thermometer, the suction pressure of the compressor can be used as the saturation pressure in the evaporator, and the approximate evaporation temperature can be obtained by looking up the table.  The temperature of the return trachea is measured with a thermometer and compared with the evaporation temperature to check the superheat.  During the adjustment, if you feel that the superheat is too small, you can turn the adjusting screw clockwise (that is, increase the spring force, reduce the thermal force expansion valve opening degree), so that the flow decreases;  On the contrary, if you feel that the superheat is too big, that is, insufficient liquid supply, you can turn the adjusting screw in the opposite direction (counterclockwise), so that the flow increase.  Due to the thermal inertia of the thermal expansion valve temperature sensing system in the actual work, the signal transmission lags behind, and the next adjustment can be carried out after the operation is basically stable.  Therefore, the whole adjustment process must be patient and meticulous, adjusting the number of turns of the screw rotation should not be too fast.
(3) Specific adjustment steps of thermal expansion valve
1) downtime.  Insert the probe of the digital thermometer into the insulation layer at the return air port of the evaporator (corresponding to the position of the sensing packet).  Connect the pressure gauge to the three - way compressor low - pressure valve.
2) start the machine and let the compressor run for more than 15 minutes to enter the stable operation state, so that the pressure indicator and temperature display can reach the stable value.
3) the temperature T2 corresponding to the pressure measured by the reading digital thermometer temperature T1 and the pressure gauge, and the superheat is the difference between the two readings, t1-t2.
Note that both readings must be read at the same time.  Thermal expansion valve superheat should be between 5-8℃, if not, appropriate adjustment.  The adjustment step is: first remove the thermal expansion valve protection cover, and then turn the adjustment screw 2-4 turns, and wait for the system to run steadily, readout again, calculate the superheat, whether it is in the normal range, if not, repeat the previous operation, until meeting the requirements, the adjustment process must be careful.

The difference between internal equilibrium and external equilibrium:
Thermal expansion valve can be divided into internal balance type and external balance type according to the conditions of use. In structure, and the balance type thermal expansion valve and balanced in basic same, balance within two mouth (out into fluoride mouth/fluoride mouth), outer balance three mouth (mouth out into fluoride mouth/fluorine/balance).  The difference is in effect at the bottom of the corrugated diaphragm is not at the entrance of the evaporator refrigerant pressure, but after the equalizer pipe connected as refrigerant in the evaporator outlet pressure. In this way, the internal resistance of the evaporator is avoided.  No matter whether the internal resistance is large or small, the pressure acting above and below the diaphragm can be adjusted according to the required superheat. Internal balance thermal expansion valve can only be used for evaporator with small internal resistance, widely used in small refrigerator, cold storage, air conditioning... Refrigeration equipment below SP.The external balance thermal expansion valve is used only when the evaporator pressure loss is large (it is recommended for machines above 5HP) to use the expansion valve.
