Sikasil NPlus: Black RTV Silicone 10.1oz Tube

Sikasil NPlus US is a general purpose, one-component, non-sag, elastomeric, 100% RTV neutral cure silicone sealant. Sikasil NPlus meets the requirements of ASTM C-920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, Use NT, T, M, G, A, O; TT-S-00230C, Type II, Class A; TT-S-001543A, Class A; CAN/CGSB- 19.13-M87, AAMA 802.3 Type II, AAMA 803.3, AAMA 805.2, AAMA 808.3 and California Air Resources Board 2003 requirements for Volatile Organic Compound content. Areas of use for Sikasil NPlus are window and door fabrication conventional glazing back bedding and cap, toe and heel beads, perimeter sealing of windows, doors and skylights, expansion and control joints, HVAC, white goods assembly kitchen and bath countertops/solid surfaces, sanitary seals.

Expansion Joints- The minimum width and depth of any sealant application should be 1/4″ x 1/4″ (6 mm x 6 mm). The depth (D) of sealant may be equal to width (W) of joints less than 1/2″ wide. For joints from 1/2″ to 1″ (13 mm to 25 mm) wide, the sealant depth should be approximately one-half of the joint width. The maximum depth (D) of any sealant application should be 1/2″ (13 mm). Window Perimeter- For fillet beads, or angle beads around windows and doors, the sealant should exhibit a minimum surface contact area [C] of 1/4″ (6 mm) onto each substrate, with provisions for release at the heel of the angle using backer rod or bond breaker tape
