Vintage Tibetan handmade necklace with Buddhist prayer beads. The red beads are "Tibetan Coral" or a handmade wound glass bead. The center bead appears to be butterscotch amber. The metal spacers are a "Tibetan Sterling" mewl alloy that appears to have been hand-poured into a daisy shaped mold. The findings are sterling silver and the necklace is constructed on a sturdy plastic coated wire. The necklace was purchased in Nepal sometime in the 1960's by a feisty world traveler (this is from her estate).
