It is possible that this Epson NX430 could be just fine, I just don’t know.

I set aside it to use an HP slide scanner and never re-connected the Epson: then it got lost in storage. The cords and cables have yet to be found. (If I find them or any documentation, discs, etc, I’ll send them.)

So, anyway… at the very least: clean Genuine Epson Parts for you.
