S.S. Great Britain, written by Adrian Ball and Diana Wright, is a 96 page, 12 X 8 1/2 inch hardcover book published by David & Charles (Publishers) Ltd., Great Britain. The copyright date is 1981 and no other dates or printings are noted.

The book is in very good condition in a very good dustjacket, with black boards and gilt spine titles.

Synopsis - The authors provide a detailed and comprehensive history of this British ship, from her construction in the 1840s to her rescue from the Falkland Islands and restoration in the 1980s. Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs, drawings and documents.

Condition Details - The book has a square spine, a tight binding, and no marks, tears, or writing aside from a gift inscription and the ghost of a penciled price on the first free endpaper. The cover has light edgewear, no soil or stains. The textblock edges are clean. The dustjacket (in new, protective Brodart) has light toning, light edgewear with tiny corner chips, and price sticker residue on the front flap, but no stains or tears. No unpleasant odors.

I never use stock photos. The item pictured is the item you'll receive, and it will be packed with care regardless of the shipping method.
