Detail
CURVERD is a separate brand from KEN TRADING, well-known for RXW. While RXW pursued Neo Vintage beyond vintage watches, CURVERD sought to explore features not attempted by RXW, such as jumping hours, flying tourbillons, and design watches for women. A distinctive characteristic is that all CURVERD watches have a tonneau-shaped design.
FALCON MATIC is a flying tourbillon released by Ken Trading in 2004. Unlike a regular tourbillon, a flying tourbillon eliminates the bridge on the dial side, supporting the axis only on the back cover. This design makes the carriage appear to float, earning it the name "flying tourbillon." It allows for a more enjoyable experience of the dynamic movement of the tourbillon, seemingly suspended in the air.
Within the category of flying tourbillons, FALCON MATIC features a skeletonized back, providing a larger cutout to enhance the enjoyment of the mechanism's movement. The dial is adorned with a guilloché pattern, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship unique to Ken Trading.
There has been a reassessment of RXW, and a reevaluation of CURVERD has also begun. Over the past two years, CURVERD watches have experienced a significant increase in value. FALCON MATIC, being a limited quantity and non-reproducible timepiece, is recommended for early purchase.
