This compact is a beautiful Stratton "Queen Convertible" made to commemorate the Royal marriage of HRH Prince Charles
and Lady Diana on 29th July 1981. This was a limited edition of 2000 and
it has the certificate which is numbered 750.
The compact has a
silver plated lid and base with a specially commissioned Wedgwood
Jasper cameo bearing the Prince of Wales feathers, which is the heraldic
badge of the Prince of Wales. Around the feathers it says "H.R.H. The
Prince of Wales, Lady Diana Spencer 1981".
This comes in its original satin lined, leatherette box with the sumptuous satin pochette.
