The Hankook Ventus S1 Evo Z AS X is a high performance, all season tire created for SUVs. Hankook offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty.

The model provides enhanced wet and light snow traction with its optimized groove design. Four wide circumferential grooves and expanding lateral lugs channel water and slush from underneath the tire, averting hydroplaning. The dense arrangement of sipes provides additional biting edges for dependable winter traction. Since the tire is designed with motorsport technology, it is better at resisting heat build-up during the high speed performance. The all season compound is mixed with high amounts of silica to adapt the tire to seasonal temperatures. This guarantees exceptional grip on wet, dry, and snowy roads.

The tire uses 3D sipes across the main tread to make the blocks more solid, ensuring the ideal tire shape while accelerating. The increased rigidity of the tread also boosts handling. The model’s shoulder blocks are wider. Their extended shape ensures upgraded road contact and powerful grip, which increases the tire’s maneuvering. This goes hand in hand with the model’s enhanced durability and the tread’s central ribs, which improves steering responsiveness to the driver’s commands. As such, the tire has precise controllability during the high speed drive.

The model is designed to provide maximum comfort. Its optimized tread pattern produces a particular pitch pattern that emits a sound frequency during the drive. It blends with the road noise and mitigates it. The closed ends of the lateral grooves cancel the resonance from the main groove by stabilizing the tread elements, just like the beveled block edges, diminishing road noise. These features work together to provide a comfortable drive.

The Hankook Ventus S1 Evo Z AS X features upgraded durability. The constant road contact is guaranteed thanks to the Aramid belt reinforcement that maintains the model’s shape. The strengthened tire balances out pressure across the footprint, preventing its accumulation on any area. This stops the model from deforming. It also keeps the maximum road contact for better stability while driving at high speeds. The tire is able to better endure heat build-up and driving pressure thanks to silica-rich compound, which further boosts the model’s durability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
