These classic cards were issued in sheets of 12 as stadium giveaways during 4 different Baltimore Orioles game in the 1991 season.  Every player in the Baltimore Orioles franchise history had a card the set, including legends like Cal Ripken and Jim Palmer and obscure players.  Crown gas stations and Coca-Cola sponsored the promotion.

The cards were issued as follows:

Series 1 issued 5/17/1991, cards #1-120

Series 2 issued 6/28/1991, cards #121-240

Series 3 issued 8/11/1991, cards #241-360

Series 4 issued 9/16/1991, cards #361-501

The sets have proven very popular with Orioles fans and autograph collectors.  It is one of the more successful team issue sets in baseball card history.

CONDITION:

As the cards were distributed in sheets of 12 and each series was shrink-wrapped, cards in the corners of the sheet are more subject to damage and wear, particularly the ones of the top and the bottom of each package.  Also, the sheets are perforated, so all cards will have a perforated edge on at least two sides.  Other than those potential issues, the cards are near mint.
