this is an original plate from a publication titled " essays on physiognamy " written by the rev john caspar lavater published in 1797 and is about the knowledge and love of mankind as seen as a science . this original plate in total measures 5.1/4" --8.3/4" and is rough cut ! this has would look great mounted and framed . this is in used condition ! i have many more historical prints you can view in my ebay shop !
