This print shows the Momo Corse Ferrari 333 SP that took second place in the 1996 24 Hours of Daytona endurance race. The car was driven by the team of drivers led by Gianpiero Moretti co-driving with Bob Wollek, Didier Theys, and Max Papis. A late-race charge by Papis fell short, but resulted in the closest finish at Daytona at the time, and a new nickname for Papis: "Mad Max."
Romanski compellingly captures the movement, speed, and style of the Ferrari on the circuit. As published in the book, Ferrari: Fifty Years on the Track, beautifully rendered on a smooth, semi-gloss stock. Would look beautiful framed. PLEASE NOTE: Any appearance of bowing is due to distortion from the camera—the print is perfectly straight and square.
