| HAWAII 1885 Honolulu Harbor 10c black POSTAGE DUE Stationery Envelope - "PAAUILO" to England Honolulu Harbor 10c black Stationery envelope from a tiny place in Hawaii, Paauilo to England with Honolulu transit mark on front. Envelope was marked "T" (POSTAGE DUE) also on front and handwritten "5c" (5 cents) in violet above the "T" (I believe this would be the U.S. inland fee). Following, already in the US it was hand mark by the post "10 to pay" on back flap, and his signature bellow. Very interesting trans-ocean postal history cover which needs further study. Great for the postal history collector in this area. |
