See Photos.  Comes from an immaculately clean non-smoking home.  In very good condition.  Desk has been stained in a dark mahogany which still lets the grain show through.  The desk has a beautiful semi-circular section above the writing surface, typical of the Carlton style, filled with four working drawers at its center and two working doors on either side. The doors open to reveal not only their curved shape but also a wonderful storage area within.  There are an additional five working drawers below the writing surface: one shallow, wide drawer at the center, then 2 drawers on either side with a shallow drawer above a deeper drawer. All drawers and doors have nice brass knobs. The beautiful tapered square legs are finished with fabulous brass casters.  Includes cat, two mice, chamber candle holder with loop handle, books, a bust (Washington?), pair of boots, paper, quill, and ink well.  Seller Lot #23083.
