SINOSSI
Il film racconta alcuni anni decisivi della vita del leggendario ballerino russo Rudolf Nureyev che, a soli 22 anni durante la sua prima tourné a Parigi, riuscì a sfuggire agli ufficiali del KGB e a chiedere asilo politico. Il regista Ralph Fiennes riesce a catturare l'anima ribelle e anticonformista di un'icona indiscussa della danza mondiale. Nureyev è intepretato dal giovane e fiero Oleg Ivenko, mentre Ralph Fiennes oltre a dirigere il suo terzo film, si ritaglia il ruolo di Alexander Pushkin, famoso maestro russo di ballo.
