Vintage Rainy Day Umbrellas Red Waechtersbach Mug
Up for auction is a beautiful and collectible mug brought to you from Waechtersbach. According to the mark on the bottom, this mug was made in W. Germany, which dates it before 1989 when the Berlin Wall came down and created a unified Germany.
This whimsical mug in the signature Waechtersbach heavily-glazed finish features a collection of festive blue and white polka-dotted umbrellas on a red background.
This 12-ounce mug is about 3.5 inches high and measures 3 inches in diameter. It has never been used for beverages, only for display. No chips, cracks, crazing or staining.
