Epiphone Shinichi Ubukata ES-355 Custom Bigsby ver.02 Classic White From JAPAN

Description of item

Epiphone Casino, which has been used by many musicians, is finally back after more than 50 years and is made in the USA!

Epiphone's history of making musical instruments in America dates back to 1873.

Gibson's founder, Orville H. Gibson, started making musical instruments in 1894, so it actually has a longer history than Gibson, making it one of the oldest American musical instrument manufacturers.

Even after being acquired by Gibson in 1957, they continued to release products under the Epiphone brand, releasing famous instruments such as the Coronet, Wilshire, and Texan that are still popular today.

Since its release in 1961, Casino has been used by many musicians such as Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, Keith Richards, Ray Davies, Dave Davies, and Paul Weller, and has been used by many musicians such as Epiphone. It has become a representative model of the company.

However, in the 180s, Epiphone's production base was moved from America to Asia, and the USA-made models continued to be limited to some limited edition models, but USA-made casinos will finally make a comeback in 2021.

The model that has arrived this time is based on a classic maple and poplar wood body, and has a royal tan nitrocellulose lacquer finish.

In addition, the USA Collection Epiphone Casino is equipped with an Orange Drop capacitor and a Gibson USA P-90 Dogear single coil pickup, and the electronics are connected by hand wiring.
