The Nikon F camera, launched in April 1959, was Nikon's first SLR camera. It is a full mechanical camera. You may be able to enjoy with it another 50 years with proper maintenance. This item is a early model among long F history (but not the earliest, according to the general categorization: Gen III, but please judge from the photos), which was in production from May 1963 to May 1965: the full metal winding lever without plastic cover, Mt. Fuji logo, vertical graves in the self timer lever; no white dot on the edge of screen slot, white letters in ASA dial.
