Description
The Nikon F camera, launched in April 1959, was Nikon's first SLR camera. It is a full mechanical camera. You may be able to enjoy with it another 50 years with proper maintenance. Enjoy the revolution! This item is a early model among long F history (but not the earliest, according to the general categorization: Gen III, but please judge from the photos), which was in production from May 1963 to May 1965: the full metal winding lever without plastic cover, Mt. Fuji logo, vertical graves in the self timer lever; no white dot on the edge of screen slot, white letters in ASA dial.

Appearance
- Beautiful cosmetics with some slight signs of use.

Optics (Finder)
- No scuff, scratch or scar on the F/R lens surfaces.
- There maybe small erosion of the prism, but almost invisible.
- No fog or haze.
- No balsam separation.
- No fungus.
- There are tiny dusts inside, which never affect photos.
Functions
- All functions work properly.
- The shutter works properly at all speeds.
- The timer works properly.
- The pressure plate is clean and smooth, giving proper pressure to film.
- Winding and rewinding works properly.
