I did a lot of research when trying to find good value prime lenses for a full frame Canon EF set up that I bought, but ended up never using. So this lens is unused. I bought this Korean lens from the brand Walimex AKA Samyang after reading this review:

I've seen these being used for manual focus for digital film cameras as well.
From Amazon:
- suitable for Canon EF- and EF-S-Bayonet
- great wide-angle lens that is excellent for reportage and landscape photography, direct connection, no adapter necessary
- fantastic lens speed of 1.4, use of two lenses with high refraction for reduction of dimensions and weight
- great reproduction quality due to high-quality, aspherical glass lenses, inner focusing, robust and elaborately crafted metal casing, manual focusing, incl. top-quality storage bag, lens hood, and lens caps
- includes: 1x Walimex Pro 35/1.4 Lens for Canon EF, incl. lens hood and lens caps
