This lovely 39 year old doll was a limited edition created by Franklin Heirloom Dolls for the Ladies Home Journal Centennial celebration.
Franklin Heirloom Dolls was a Franklin Mint company.
The doll has the original tag indicating the maker and giving care instructions.
The doll is also signed on the back of the neck in both the porcelain mold and with a stamp both indicating the 1984 date.
Two tags on the bottom of the boots say, "Made in Tiwan Republic of China' and "Hand Crafted in Tiwan."
The Victorian outfit is a dark green velvet trimmed in white lace.
She also has white stockings, black high button boots, white pantaloons and a white slip.
The long brown hair is trimmed with a large dark brown velvet bow.
Her face is hand-painted.
The head, hands and legs are porcelain, body is cloth.
