Scott# C14 & C15 Graf Zeppelin Flight Cover May 1930 First Europe Pan-America Round [Trip] Flight with the purple double-circle "THIS ARTICLE MADE THE COMPLETE ROUND TRIP VIA GRAF ZELPPELIN" and typewritten "VIA FRIEDRICHSHAFEN AND GRAF ZEPPELIN TO LAKEHURST & RETURN TO FRIEDRICHSHAFEN (hence the "Complete" round trip).

Immaculate, Investment-Grade Condition.

Super nice condition - a desirable dark blue stamp.  Superb strikes of the obverse markings.  

Black "VARICK ST. STA. NY. MAY 7 1930" cancel on the stamps, the purple diamond with all stops shown and the red "SUDAMERIKA FAHRT 1930" are all on the obverse plus the purple double-circle for the return to Germany.

Backstamped June 6 1930 in in Friedrichshafen.  Partial strike of the green zeppelin "MAY 31 1930" Lakehurst machine cancel on the reverse as a receiving marking to show that it was returned to the United States before being sent back to Friedrichshafen for the return.  It is struck below the collector's return address - "E. T. Conner, 658 22nd Street, San Pedro, California."
