⭐ Rare Find ⭐ Oil Cloth 23” Pennant MONTREAL Canada ⭐ Antique Souvenir ⭐ Royal Canadian Mounted Police ⭐ R.C.M.P. "Mounties" ⭐

This vintage oil-cloth pennant from Montreal Canada. Great silhouette image of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police on his horse. Red oil cloth with dark blue graphics and bordering, the knotted tassel tails silk ribbons.  A rare and delicate surviving pennant. When possible or necessary, pennants are shipped flat, otherwise they are carefully protected, loosely rolled-up, and shipped in a box. ⭐APPROXIMATE SIZE:  Length = 23 in (58.42 cm), width = 8 in (20.32 cm).
⭐CONDITION:  Good+, visible age and use-wear patina, screen printed graphics and lettering are crisp and clear, some creasing and edge cracks, tip has clipping, knotted tassel tails appear complete. Review images for condition accuracy and verification.
⭐ADDITIONAL INFO:  Many pennants from 1930s and later were manufactured by the ‘Keezer’ company, Plaistow NH, this may or may not be one. I have over 120 vintage pennants I am in the process of listing.
⭐WHERE I GOT IT:  Maine auction house (years ago).
⭐ERA OF ORIGIN:  1930s-1940s.
⭐SUMMARY:  Older pennants like this are getting hard to find. Authentic felt pennants are machine handsewn using multiple components. Modern pennants originating around the 1980s started to be made in one piece from thin synthetic felt-like material- no components or stitching.
