The cassette inject switch is damaged. It works by lightly pressing the white switch inside with a thin object as shown in the video.

It's an easy task once you get the hang of it.

The sensitivity of the built-in microphone may be poor, so please use the included new microphone.

I was able to confirm recording and playback.

The battery is not covered by the warranty due to age deterioration.
