The Folding Cartridge Premo No. 2 and No. 2A cameras were manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company from approximately 1916 to 1926. Designed as an inexpensive camera that meets the requirements for amateur picture taking. The No. 2 is equipped with a meniscus lens and a No. 0 Kodak ball bearing shutter with speeds from 1/25 to 1/50 of a second. The No. 2A is equipped with a meniscus achromatic lens and the No. 1 Kodak ball bearing shutter with cable release and with speeds from 1/25 to 1/100 of a second. Both cameras were also offered with an optional rapid rectilinear lens. Both take N.C. cartridge film. The No. 2 takes six exposures, 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches in size on No. 120 film. The No. 2A takes six or twelve exposures, 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches in size on No. 116 film.
