On offer is a Vintage display plate, featuring a mouse and butterfly from the Wildlife Collection, made in stoneware by Poole Pottery, Dorset England, between 1982 & 1984.

Designed by Barbara Linley Adams, whose initials are on the front of the plate, conceived the collection in the early 1980s. The design is of a mouse and butterfly amongst grass and flowers, which is lightly impressed into the plate then coloured in black.

It is 13cm in diameter and is free from damage, chips or cracks. On the base are an impressed Poole mark and the painters/decorators initials. The unpackaged weight is 130 grams.

As there is widespread confusion about the difference between chips, nicks, hairlines, or cracks. Here is how we see it:

A nick is a tiny bit of damage smaller than 1mm and a chip is something you can see with the eye; a hairline runs over the surface glazing but not the body of the item and a crack runs through the body of the item, usually weakening its structure.

 

Shipping: Delivery to the Mainland UK will take 3-5 working days, via either Courier, or Royal Mail 2nd Class recorded. But we also offer several options for a faster delivery, so if you require the item quicker, just select the Royal Mail 24hr special delivery (Next Day by 1pm) or 1st Class recorded (1 to 2 days) to get it faster from the postage options. We despatch all items within 3 days of payment being received. Sorry but we do not dispatch at weekends or bank holidays. Also, we reserve the right to change the method of dispatch if circumstances change.
