From the cover: “Formed on 1 April 1918 from the merger between the Royal Naval Air Service and the Royal Flying Corps‚ the Royal Air Force was the first fully autonomous military air arm in the world. The new service suffered from budget cut-backs between the two world wars‚ but nonetheless evolved sound organisational and operational doctrines that were to stand it in good stead in the conflict ahead. Delivery takes up to 5 working days in the UK but is mostly faster‚ and I aim to despatch orders next day except those placed on Friday or Saturday which will ship the following Monday.

Books are offered subject to prior sale - I update my stock daily but it happens that a book has sold but shows for sale here between those updates - immediate refund and profound apology issued in that instance. I guarantee the book is as described‚ if not it may be returned for a full refund of the price paid and postage costs incurred. I accept returns for any reason but return postage costs will not be refunded.
