these splasher castings came from Bond's O Euston Road , they closed their model engineering dept in about 1973, these are the last chance to get Bonds castings, some of the iron is thin and can be very hard, soften by heating , see internet for advice

bought with lots of larger scale wheels by the 2 1/2 inch gauge Association , they have been cleaned of most rust and oiled ,

these are cast iron and look very nice

possible Royal Scot but would fit lots of designs

overall size 110mm long 18mm tall and 25mm wide metal is about 2-3mm thick cast iron

may suit 5 inch gauge locos
