Joseph had composed 'Regional at Best' 'not knowing whether or not people were going to hear it' and viewed 'Vessel' as an opportunity to complete these songs. Features the singles 'Holding on to You', 'Guns for Hands', 'Lovely', 'House of Gold', 'Fake You Out', 'Car Radio'.
