Diameter is approximately .06mm-.1mm / .0041"-.0025". Choose the appropriate grit for the application. Winona Van Norman sells glass beads from large size #1 to very fine #13 as well as various grit sizes of aluminum oxide and steel shot.
Glass Bead #12 is interchangeable with Glass Bead size #13. There is only a 0.0007" difference between the sizes, and results are nearly identical.
