Here is an all original example of this desirable American Flyer wide gauge (or standard gauge) freight car. Includes #4006 Hopper car in red with 7 Million plates, and flex trucks. The car is all original with no touchup or repaint ever. This car came out of a collection of Flyer we recently got it. The collection was in place and has not been touched for the last 70+ years! The car is in good solid condition with a lot of dust and dirt as seen, from sitting on the shelf. The car shows only a couple small nicks and no major scratches. The couplers, wheels and metal dump bin cover underneath all show some surface rust as seen. This all could definitely be cleaned, and the car would come up very nicely! This version features the tougher to find “flex trucks” in gray. The original stampings are still intact underneath. All trim is intact on the car. Please examine photos as they are the best description. Nice original car, no reserve!
