Spruce Top Provides Balanced, Projecting Tone

The 000-X2E features a spruce top, a treasured tonewood that yields balanced sound across the tonal spectrum. With vintage-inspired X-bracing, the spruce top offers sweet, focused mids, crisp highs with bell-like clarity and tight low end. It projects beautifully when you need to be heard in a full-band mix or fill a room unplugged. The spruce top also gives you detailed note articulation.

Durable and Stylish Back and Sides With High-Pressure Laminate

The back and sides are constructed from high-pressure laminate with a decorative Brazilian rosewood pattern. The layered material is durable and resistant to cracks, splits and changes in humidity. Its stylish look complements the natural spruce top. The matching laminate headstock overlay and fingerboard provide a cohesive visual design. The sturdy construction allows the 000X2E to be played on stage or taken on the road without worry of damage. The lightweight build also enhances comfort during extended practice or performance sessions.

Slim Neck Profile Provides Hours of Playing Comfort

Shredding solos or fingerpicking for hours, your hands will stay relaxed on the 000-X2E's slim mahogany neck. Its tapered profile and smooth satin finish allow your hands to glide up and down the neck with little resistance. A 1-3/4" nut width provides room for fingering chords without feeling cramped. The beveled fingerboard edges comfortably fit your hand, making it easier to play barre chords and reach for those high notes.

Built-in Electronics Let You Plug in Anywhere

When you need amplification, the 000-X2E lets you plug right into a PA or amplifier with its onboard Martin E-1 electronics. Complete with volume, tone and phase controls, plus a built-in chromatic tuner, the E-1 system accurately captures your acoustic tone and makes it gig-ready. Just flip the discretely mounted preamp off when you want to play unplugged. Lightweight and road-ready, the 000-X2E goes from studio to stage with ease.
