This is for an Antique companion fireplace tool set. The set is solid brass with cast iron. There are 4 pieces in the set: brush (with real hair), poker, tongs and the holder.The holder is very heavy as the feet are cast iron and extend beyond the holder. The piece is cast with: Patent No 5457-1910 and I believe the patent has to do with the way the feet were crafted for weight distribution. 

The holder measures 16 inches tall.
The piece shows age appropriate wear as there is denting on the holder, mostly on one side and the poker has damage to the brass in the middle as peeling some. This could easily be glued down. This is lacquered and can be wiped with a damp cloth to clean.


**All items are vintage and if more then normal age appropriate use / condition issues - then it will shown in the listing / pictures. Please ask questions prior to purchase if there are concerns.

Majority of my items for sale are pre-loved treasures that were most likely purchased at a local Estate Sale or a local resale shop in Arizona.  I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices.

*I do Not except returns or exchanges unless I erroneously forgot to declare a Major flaw. Remember most items will show wear.  Assume items are preloved and or vintage and such can have its own idiosyncrasies due to age alone and normal wear and tear. Remember vintage items have been used and will have small issues like surface scratches and age appropriate wear. I will show any major issues in my pictures as they are part of the description.

*If an item is damaged in shipping you agree to hold onto the item, box and packing materials until the claim is processed and I will need you to take any necessary pictures to file with the carrier.

* I take great care in packaging items correctly and shipping on time.

* I STRONGLY believe in reusing and repurposing of mailing materials, thus your item maybe packed in a previously used box and/or wrapped with previously used materials. Thank you for looking!!
