Released at the beginning of the summer of 1999, this figures' debut on retail store shelves was, by an unlucky coincidence, just weeks after a well known shooting perpetrated by people in black trenchcoats and ski masks. Although it had been in development for a year prior to that incident, Kay-Bee toys pulled the figures from store shelves after only being available for a few days ... ToysRUs and other retailers cancelled their orders and/or destroyed whatever figures were on the way to the stores. The figure itself was a compliment to the "America's Finest" crime fighting figures. He has all black clothing, black ballistic vest with plate, black trenchcoat, a shorty AK47 with an assault sling, and a nice sawed off shotgun with a leg holster so all weapons can be hidden under the trenchcoat.
This is a new item that was never removed from its box. ONE END IS NOT TAPED. This is the way it came and it’s clear that this was never removed from the blister pack. So if you’re looking at this you know that these were considered highly offensive and pulled from store shelves immediately after the Columbine school shootings. They’re around but quickly becoming collectors items.
