This 6' coaxial antenna cable is a very low-loss, braided 1/2" foam dielectric cable with N-Male connectors on both ends.
Why does this matter?
You don't want to buy an expensive high-gain antenna just to lose that gain in cable loss. Here's a WiFi example (2.4GHz) of the 100' insertion loss for two popular cables vs. the TWS-600:
Cable 100' insertion loss
RG58 24.8 dB
LMR-240 12.7 dB
TWS-600 4.9 dB
Compared to the lower priced RG58, the TWS-600 has 1/5 the loss -- which means you can go five times further with your cable or get more gain from your antenna.
The above comparison applies to the higher cellular bands if you are trying to improve cellular reception and all the more to the higher frequency 5GHz WiFi band.
Please note, we purchased a "6 ft" cable and the tag says "6 ft", however when we measure it, we measure 5'-4"...
