The SSR's bandwidth ranges from the dark, warm reverb typical of an amplifier's spring reverb to the clear, crisp studio reverb.

In order to keep the attenuation as natural as possible, no noise reduction system is included.

The direct signal path is all analog and passes through the analog amplifier without filtering.

If the input is set lower than the maximum value, signal distortion and sound thinning may occur.

The reverb signal path creates a natural SSR ambience through filtering.

The SSR sound is specifically designed to perform as well under the rigors of distorted tones as it does with a clean signal. Although SSR can be used before the distortion components, it is primarily designed to be used afterward. When using it before a distortion component, use a low reverb setting.
