A Wonderfully made Middle Eastern Design,

Hammered Brass Plate with a Black Front that has detailed Etching.

This beautiful and unique piece was acquired in the late 60's to early 70's, in either Bahrain or Brunei.

It measures 29cm in diameter and has a neatly fitted hook on the back that allows for hanging if desired.

The intricate design of the front etchings make for a very attractive piece on its own, or equally as part of a larger display.

Having a blacked front with etchings through to the brass, it reacts beautifully to light and really draws ones eye.

A quality and unique decor item.

It is at least 50+ years old and has travelled around East Africa for a few years before settling here in the UK in the mid 70's! So there are a couple of minor marks around the edge but nothing that stands out and is otherwise in excellent condition.
