This silver dubloon is best described by the accompanying certificate of authenticity.  It was very hard to get good photos being as old as it is and underwater for almost 250 years too!

1740 Spanish Empire Silver 8 Reales. Recovered from the Dutch East Indies ship 'Hollandia' which sank off the coast of the Isles of Scilly in July 1743.

Weight: 27.7g

Composition: Silver

The ship Hollandia was built by the Dutch East India Company in 1742.

In 1968, a London attorney called Rex Cowan began an expedition to find the shipwreck Hollandia. In 1971 the wreck was found and a diving expedition recovered this coin, along with others and cannons and mortars.

Very rare coin. Comes with certificate of Authenticity.

Have given this coin a good clean and added more photos.
