A Christmas card with the message inside "Wishing You a Very Happy Christmas and New Year, from Peter Daubeny. 1951."
Peter Daubeny (1921 - 1975) was a theatre impresario of some importance. The card is not signed by hand.
The card has been designed for Daubeny by the stage designer Theyre Lee-Elliott (1903 - 1988). The Christmas tree depicted supports candles highlighting the productions which Daubeny was over-seeing at the time.

An attractive and very scarce piece of theatre memorabilia.
Size: the card measures approx. 16.5cms x 12.5cms.
Condition: Generally in a good condition, the back a little scuffed. Please study the photos.
