This art piece depicts four figurines of suspender shorts, a rabbit, a bear, and a single sock “hanging” with mini wooden clips on a jute twine “to dry” on a “Big Laundry Day." All figurines have been handmade in three-dimensional shapes (3-D) from Merino wool roving in needle felting technique and enhanced with acrylic paint elements (on rabbit, bear, and water drops) and PVA glue for the “wet” fuzzy fur effect (on rabbit). The figurines are partially attached with needle felting and PVA glue to a soft wool surface created in Nuno felting and partially needle felting techniques from organic fibers: cotton soft fabric and finest Merino Wool roving. The “Big Laundry Day” art is carefully stretched on the acrylic glass for a unique visual effect and framed with a lightweight wooden frame. Please be advised that 3-D Art does not need a glass cover. Made with a combination of techniques, this Felt Art is charming and sure to stand out as something more than simple wall décor for your child’s room. Please refer to the pictures.
