【Features】
The story of "Greenie" is shrouded in mystery, but there are probably few guitars that are as famous as this one. The Greenie is one of the most iconic of the original Les Paul Standards, as unique in its sound as it is in its looks. Previously owned by Peter Green, this guitar was used during his time with Fleetwood Mac and later sold to Gary Moore. Gary used this guitar for 30 years, both as a member of Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist. “Greenie” is currently owned by Kirk Hammett, and has passed through the hands of three legendary guitarists. Its characteristic sound is that the neck pickup is mounted with opposite magnetic poles, resulting in an opposite-phase sound during switch position mixing.
The Epiphone Kirk Hammett "Greenie" Les Paul Standard was developed in close collaboration between Epiphone and the Gibson Custom Shop. This special guitar is inspired by Kirk's legendary original guitar. With the release of this product, players around the world will be able to experience a part of the magic of "Greeny".
This product is equipped with the following premium parts. Two Gibson USA Greeny Bucker pickups are used, and the neck side is reverse mounted.
Featuring Switchcraft pickup selectors, 1/4" output jacks, CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, and spade-style Grover Rotomatic tuners. Comes with a vintage-style brown hardshell case with pink lining.
