This auction is for a vintage Rare Amazing Early Mark Bing & Grondahl B&G Sitting Borzoi #1814 by Lauritis Jensen!!!  😃😊😉 This auction as stated is for an amazing piece of Bing and Grondahl porcelain. It is the very rare Sitting Borzoi #1315. It was designed by Lauritis Jensen. In his sculpture of this beautiful dog, he captured all the details of the unique coat of the Borzoi. This fantastic piece was made between 1948-1952. The figurine stands approximately 9” tall and the length is 7-1/4”. It is clearly marked on the bottom of the piece with the Bing and Grondahl logo as well as the model number and painters’ initials. In addition, check out the mark, this is the logo with the three tower, B&G Kjobenhavn Danmark stamped in green and the B&G in blue making it stamp used in the years 1915-1947, making it one of the early pieces. There is a small piece of porcelain you can hear move inside the cavity of the dog. This comes from the air hole that the artists from Bing and Grondahl need to do that is necessary for firing porcelain the has a hollow cavity to release the pressure inside. It is not a flaw. It is free from any damage and is first quality. There is no original box. It will be wrapped with care for delivery. This will make a terrific gift for your special someone or for yourself.
